Jeevan belongs to the second kind. For the last 10 years, Jeevan has been living with a physical disability. Yet, despite every challenge, he has chosen dignity over dependence. Every day, he opened his small shop, worked hard, and earned an honest living to support his family and his five-year-old daughter. Today, that livelihood is at risk. His shop has fallen into poor condition, infested with rats and rodents, making it unsafe to operate. To make matters worse, he has also been asked to vacate the premises, leaving him without a secure source of income. Even now, Jeevan has not lost hope. He isn’t asking for sympathy. He simply wants another opportunity to work.🙏🏻 At Yashmay Bharat Foundation, we believe that true charity is not about giving temporary relief—it is about creating lasting independence. At G. J. Shah High School in Gandhinagar, students once faced the daily challenge of learning in classrooms with worn-out flooring, outdated infrastructure, and limited safe spaces. The environment made it difficult for them to focus and thrive, highlighting the urgent need for an upgrade that could provide both comfort and dignity. With the support of our team, local workers, and volunteers, the school underwent a complete transformation. From laying new flooring and durable tiles to repairing structural damages and brightening the walls with fresh, inviting colors, every detail was carefully restored. Today, the renewed campus offers students a safe, vibrant, and inspiring environment where they can pursue education with confidence and pride.
